Be sure to read our breeding rules completely before requesting a litter.

Pups who are not marked below as taken are open for adoption via an audition (draw a picture of the puppy you'd like and in the artist's comments please include at least a short biography). In one week we will award the pups to the person who we feel had the best audition. Remaining pups after that will become first-come first-serve. All claimed

Breed: German Shepherd
Notes: The alpha male of the litter, this guy has a beautiful light cream sable coat, long in length and very silky, feathery. He promises to be a good, strong, bold example of his breed. Solidly built and muscular, he is a powerful dog even at this age and knows it. He likes to show off by casually putting other pups in the litter in their places. Very physical and confrontational, he is fearless in the face of a threat and the first to the fence to guard against intruders. But even in times of peace, he remains somewhat distant from humans and a little snappish when approached too boldly. He likes to feel in control of things. We believe this can be curbed over time with careful handling and food rewards, as he is very food motivated and very very intelligent.

2. KEEPING

Notes: A dark sable with red highlights, this pup would like to be the alpha but seems to be lacking something. Though headstrong and very bold, energetic like his mom, he seems to have an awkward gait and is too clumsy or silly to really perform as well as his older brother. So he seems to end up with the short end of things, when push comes to shove. But he’s very spirited, more than willing to wrestle with his larger brothers or tougher sisters, even though they always beat him. He simply does not know when to quit. It was this spirit and determination that caused us to keep this pup. When not in the face of a challenge, he can be very goofy. Silly and playful, he loves to spin in moments of excitement and can be terribly vocal, but is not aggressive, just excitable.

3. KEEPING

Breed: German Shepherd
Notes: A beautiful black puppy with her daddy’s short but thick coat of fur, this is one of the litter’s prized little pupils. Headstrong and very eager, she is usually the first pup to confront a threat, and does so with her chest puffed out and her head held high. She’s very curious and is always alert to her surroundings, a keen and focused little dog. She’s inherited her father’s aloofness so she tends to be a little difficult to control with very selective hearing and a very challenging temperament. But, with patience, she could be an excellent, high-intensity working dog.

Breed: German Shepherd
Notes: A handsome red and black pup with a thick, fluffy coat, this pup is a carbon copy of his father. Well, personality-wise anyway. Combining his mother’s playfulness with his father’s careful sense of caution, this little man is a very calm, cool, and curious pup. He tends to be weary of new things in his environment, as all puppies are, but reacts to fear with defensive confidence rather than skittishness. When a cat got too close to his sister, he watched it carefully before mock charging and barking, then scurrying away. He’s more bark than he is actual bite, but seems to bark and bites seldom, preferring to snooze in someone’s lap or follow the horses on a trail ride. He loves being with people, and is almost annoyingly devoted to his handlers.

Notes: The runt of the litter, she is the only classically colored shepherd of the bunch. Though small in size and construction, she is well balanced and very physically capable, with her mother’s long flowing coat and sweet disposition. She’s a little timid, as many runts tend to be, and is cautious/weary/avoidant of strangers. But with her family, pack or handlers, she is very sweet and affectionate. She loves to lick hands and faces when greeting people.
