Pups who are not marked below as taken are open for adoption via an audition (draw a picture of the ONE puppy you'd like and in the artist's comments please include at least a short biography). In one week, May 18th, we will award the pups to the person who we feel had the best audition. Remaining pups after that will become point adoptables.

Notes: This is Axel's final litter, so if you want a pup out of our gorgeous stud, now is your last chance to get one. They are also full siblings to this litter. The adopter may choose if the pup is short or long coated. You do not have to ask to audition!



1. KEEPING
Gender: Female
Breed: German Shepherd
Notes: This silver sable female may not be the biggest puppy in the litter, but she's got all the courage of a solider and the swagger of a rock star. She's a born athlete and loves to run and chase things. She is very focused, intensely so, and when she sets off on a target it takes a lot to get her to listen and stop. She'll definitely be a handful to train, but with her confidence and laser-point attention, she'll make a fantastic Schutzhund or working dog.

Notes: This stocky red-and-black male is fairly quiet, but very intelligent too, and is quick to pick up on training. He's very loyal and likes to stick by your side, very much a one-person dog. He can be a little aloof towards other dogs, but is very much a patient pup when it comes to people, and will let himself be tugged and petted all over. He'll definitely be a very majestic specimen of dog when he's an adult, and with his good focus and strong loyalty there's quite a few things he could grow to be.

Notes: This handsome dark sable male is just the opposite of his brother 2, playful and rambunctious. He loves to find trouble and tease other animals; some of the horses have already sent a few irritated kicks his way. He's very curious and loves to be doing things; when he's alone or bored he tends to get destructive, chewing up his surroundings. But when he has something to pull or learn or chase, he's very focused to his task and eager to please. He's a great example of a classic working German Shepherd.

Notes: This striking golden sable is solidly built and seems to think of himself as unstoppable. He'll plow right through his siblings if he sees something he wants to investigate; he seems to not really get the concept of "around" and will climb over or under things to make a beeline. But, you can't say he doesn't get the job done. He's a very assertive little pup and is often the first of his litter to sound the alarm when he sees something new. He can be pretty stubborn, but with the right trainer he'll definitely grow to be a very powerful dog.

Notes: A sable puppy quite similar in looks to her sister 1, this female is the ambassador of the litter, always willing to approach new people and try and make friends. She's a genuinely sweet dog through and through, with a tail that seems to wag along with her heartbeat. She's a little easily distracted, but a sharp whistle or flash of a toy is normally enough to get her to remember what she's supposed to be doing. She's really just a genuinely nice dog, and would love a home with other dogs she can play with.

Notes: This red-and-black female is a little firecracker, always wanting to know who's doing what and how she can join in. Very active, she loves to be doing something, especially if it involves physical work - her attention is a little bit excitable and she can get a bit bored with long sessions of training. She much prefers to be running alongside her siblings or exploring the woods on a trail ride. She's very bold and would probably make a great Schutzhund dog once she's older and mellowed out a bit.

Notes: This bicolor female has the quiet regalness of his father, though she has the fiesty personality of her mother too. She generally prefers to hang back and watch, but don't mistake that and think she's scared or shy - she can hold her own and then some, and has no problem putting her siblings in their place if they try to shove her around. She's very clever but slow to trust, and it takes a bit of one-on-one working in a calm environment to get her to see you as her leader. However, once that happens you'll be hard pressed to find a more dedicated, loyal companion.
