Personality: Jericho is a dog that is absolutely bursting with character. While you may look at his thick long coat and quite frankly ridiculous tail and assume he's an aloof show dog, what you don't see is that it took 3 handlers and a huge bucket of diced hot dog to get him washed and groomed and he is, in fact, about to go roll in that nice pile of dirt as soon as you stop petting him. He's an infectiously happy dog, with a constantly wagging tail and exceptionally optimistic demeanor. He lives for praise and attention, and truly is happiest when he's working with his handlers - praise, food, and play are all equal motivators for him, which makes his training enjoyable for both parties. He's too wiggly for now to have the attention span or patience for things like herding or therapy work, but he does exceptionally well at active sports where he can really throw himself into it - agility and frisbee are a favorite of his, and he's also working on obedience and freestyle as well. While Jericho isn't going to be breaking any records for super intelligence, he's still a smart dog and more importantly, he's a hard worker and tries in earnest at almost anything you ask of him. He's definitely very loved at the kennel and an exceptionally nice example of a Good Boy.
