Personality: Lucas has all the momentum of a semi-truck and the mindset of an excited toddler. With his compressed, muscular build and alert, keen curiosity, he's a natural athlete that excels at sports where he can use his power and addrenaline to the maxmimum capacity. So far weight pull and wall crawl have been his most successful, but he's also shown the same focus in Schutzhund that his father also exhibits, and is being trained to get better at that sport as well (he still needs work on his recall). Friendly with people, Lucas has little concept of personal space and has no problem with barging right in to say hello or demand some food. He quite enjoys attention, especially if you're willing to run or play tug with him - you'll instantly be his best friend if you pull out a rope toy. He can be a bit greedy and has some latent possession issues left over from his puppy-hood; it sometimes takes a few repititions of "leave it" before he remembers to actually follow through with the command, but he is slowly getting better over time. He has a substantial prey drive and can't be let off-leash around small animals, which also shows in his play-style - any companions need to also be very rowdy and willing to get dirty when they play, though he does seem to be much inherantly gentler with female dogs. He does find some company in the larger dogs at STS though and overall he's just a big, happy pup.
